Business Advisory
Harder than it should be? It's fixable.
A structured improvement method for businesses where profit, margins, energy or alignment have slipped. Led by people who have successfully delivered turnarounds before, it begins with a fresh perspective, a clear understanding of the issues and the creation of a practical plan.
The pattern we see
Stuck businesses share a pattern.
Margins drifting. Profit off while everyone works harder. No clear view of which products or clients make money. A leadership group out of alignment and an owner who cannot switch off.
None of this means the business is broken. It usually means nobody has diagnosed it properly. Often, the business does not have a documented strategic action plan to drive performance, create accountability and get back on track.
The numbers need to be cleaned up, break-even confirmed, margins understood line by line and leakage examined. From there, we create a prioritised plan, with someone accountable for maintaining progress.

What we do
We fix the basics, in order.
Diagnose.
We undertake a critical analysis of the business and develop practical options. We clean up the numbers, confirm break-even, understand margins line by line and identify where profit, cash and energy are leaking.
Prioritise.
The two or three moves that change the result this year, not a fifty-point plan. We identify the issues having the greatest impact and establish the priorities that will shift the dial and deliver the most meaningful improvement.
Implement.
Actions with owners and dates, worked through on a standing cadence. Actions are assigned owners and dates and worked through on a rolling cadence, with corrective action taken promptly when results move off track.
Accountability and action.
We maintain accountability and action until the agreed results are achieved across every objective, creating better outcomes for all stakeholders, including the owners.
Our experience
We have done this before.
The method behind the work has been delivered through structured improvement programs across Australia and the United Kingdom. It has been refined over years of achieving improved outcomes with real businesses across many different industries.
Our process
How this works.
Good work follows a process. Here is ours.
Business Health Check
The structured diagnosis: numbers, margins, breakeven, alignment. Complimentary and confidential.
Business Improvement Plan
We develop the priorities and clear actions, focusing on the numbers that matter most. Every action has an owner and timeline, with a shared understanding of what success will look like for all parties.
The working rhythm
Regular sessions review progress, clear obstacles and confirm the next actions. Corrective action is taken where required as we close the gap and drive towards achievement of the agreed plan.
Common questions
Questions we get asked.
Call before it is bad. The best improvement work starts when the owner senses drift, not when the bank is calling. Either way, the Health Check will tell you honestly where things stand. Everything begins with the first conversation.
Not necessarily. Both services share a common spine: clear goals, sound structure, a documented plan and accountability.
Business improvement work begins with diagnosis, priorities and near-term fixes. Strategic planning begins with vision, direction and growth. In every case, the objective is to maximise business value and create options for all stakeholders. It is not uncommon for clients to move from one service to the other.

Then you will hear that, plainly, and you will have a clean set of numbers and a breakeven you did not have before. We would rather tell you the truth than sell you a program.
Yes, and speed matters. A rolling short-term cash flow comes first to buy time and remove surprises, then the improvement work starts on stable ground.
