Yes. For new clients and referrals the Health Check session is on us. We would rather show you how we think than tell you.
Senior people with decades of experience. Work is done and reviewed at that level, and they are the ones you reach on the phone.
Most owners assume it is. It is not. With your authority we collect prior-year files and handle the ATO side, and we make the switch smooth and easy.

Simon has recently joined and become a director at Securinvest after over 25 years working in and running integrated financial services businesses. While always passionate about helping SME business owners, he is even more so after spending 12 months working in CFO and finance roles in the real world.
Alec Blacklaw
Partner
Alec has spent more than 30 years working alongside business owners through the challenges of building, running, changing and ultimately exiting a business. A Partner in Securinvest's Strategic Business Advisory team, he holds an Economics degree and is a CPA, business adviser and strategist. Alec works closely with founder-led businesses where there is real value at stake, across a broad range of industries and almost every stage of the business lifecycle, from rapid growth through to restructuring, succession and sale. His approach starts with asking the right questions, helping owners and leadership teams understand where they are, where they want to go and what is standing in the way. From there, he helps create alignment, strengthen leadership, improve profitability and turn strategy into practical action, with a focus on building a more profitable, valuable and enjoyable business. Outside of work, Alec enjoys travelling, football, a good malt whisky and spending time with his wife and family.

Laura has been helping Securinvest clients with their accounting and tax since 2012. Whether it's a company, trust, partnership or individual, she looks after everything from financial statements and tax returns to BAS, bookkeeping and end of financial year tax planning. Laura brings more than 16 years of public practice experience. She holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting), is a qualified CPA, and knows her way around MYOB, Xero and Reckon. When she's not crunching numbers, you'll find her with a good book, at Pilates, with her cats, or out caravanning with her family.
James Zukiewicz
Senior Accountant
James is a Chartered Accountant and Tax Agent with more than 10 years’ experience in public practice. He works with individuals, family groups and small to medium-sized businesses across tax, accounting and advisory matters, helping clients from the initial setup of their business through to ongoing tax planning and informed business decision-making. Outside of work, James is a keen triathlete and passionate Richmond supporter who enjoys spending many summer days at the beach.

When Tom isn't playing sport (mostly cricket, soccer and AFL), he's most likely watching sport. But he fits in a fair bit of family and friend time around the sporting calendar, and loves to travel.
